Order Tracking Terms
At General Store, we understand that knowing the status of your order is important to you. These Order Tracking Terms outline how you can monitor your shipment, the information available, and our responsibilities regarding tracking updates.
1. Availability of Tracking Information
Once your order is shipped, we will send a confirmation email to the address provided during checkout. This email will include a unique tracking number and a link to the courier’s tracking page.
Tracking information typically becomes active within 24–48 hours after the shipping confirmation is sent. This delay is due to processing times by the courier service.
2. How to Track Your Order
  • Via Homepage Tracking Entry: You can find the "Track Order" entry on the right side of the top navigation bar on our homepage. Click on it, enter your tracking number, and you'll be able to check the real-time status of your order immediately.
  • Via Email: Click the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email to be redirected to the courier’s website, where you can view real-time updates on your package’s location and estimated delivery date.
  • Via Your Account: Log into your General Store account, navigate to the “Order History” section, select the relevant order, and click the provided tracking number to access details.
3. Accuracy of Tracking Information
Tracking data is provided by our partner courier services. While we strive to ensure the information is up-to-date, we cannot guarantee the accuracy or timeliness of updates, as they are managed by third parties.
In rare cases, tracking information may show delays or incorrect statuses due to technical issues or human error by the courier.
4. Updates and Notifications
Courier services typically update tracking information at key stages of the delivery process (e.g., package picked up, in transit, out for delivery).
You may opt to receive notifications directly from the courier (if available) by following the instructions on their tracking page, such as SMS alerts or email updates.
5. Issues with Tracking
If you do not receive a tracking number within 5 business days of your order confirmation (and your order is marked as shipped), please contact us at support@generalstorez.shop with your order number.
If tracking information shows no movement for 10+ business days, or if you believe there is an error, reach out to our support team. We will investigate with the courier and provide assistance.
6. Limitation of Liability
General Store is not responsible for delays or inaccuracies in tracking information caused by the courier service. Our role is to provide the tracking details as received from the courier.
